Summer Camps - Themed Week Sessions in Detail
- Week 1: Mother Earth’s Stewards -- the world of fairies and gnomes
Working and moving around us all through the day and night, elemental friends are playfully caring for our dear Mother Earth. While exploring the burgeoning summer landscape, we will search for signs that the fairies and gnomes are always near. We will create our own fairy garden with treasures from the gnomes. Puppet Show: A Summer Play for Marionettes. - Week 2: The Enchanted Garden -- birds, bees, flowers and seeds
We, too, can be helpers and healers of Mother Earth like the fairies and gnomes. This week we will create a pollinator watering station, make seed balls and plant a flower garden. Puppet Show: The Daisy - Week 3: Healing Waters -- oceans, lakes and river
Water play and waterways will fill this week of camp. Flowing and weaving with graceful ease, we will explore the magical mood of the watery realm. We will sew rainbow fish and paint for them an undersea home. Puppet Show: The Clam Shell - Week 4: King and Queens -- the royal court and customs
The royal court and customs will hold sway as we learn proper manners, social graces and build respectful relationships. We will make royal capes and crowns. Puppet Show: Rapunzel - Week 5: The Magic of Movement
Run, jump, skip, hop, crawl, balance and climb as we connect with and gain mastery over our precious body.
