Interested in a wonder-filled experience for your child this summer?

Welcome to our Grades Waldorf-inspired Summer Camps!

Nourish your child’s inherent connection to nature and enliven a sense of wonder! Children can explore their creativity through art, crafts, and immersive outdoor play. Each day, campers will engage in hands-on activities that inspire artistic expression while learning to appreciate the beauty of the natural world. Through storytelling, crafting, and outdoor adventures, children will develop their social skills, self-confidence, and a love for learning in a supportive and joyful environment. The gentle rhythm of Waldorf education carries the campers throughout their day, ensuring a balance of activities. Come and experience the magic of summer with us!

Your child will enjoy:
  • Exploring nature
  • Making new friends and deepening existing relationships
  • Plenty of time for creative free play
  • Fun-filled activities
  • Learning and practicing new skills
  • Creating art projects with natural materials
  • A consistent rhythm

There are five weekly themes that repeat twice. Campers are welcome to attend both sessions, as they will be slightly different. Rising 2nd-8th grade campers are invited to attend. Older campers are welcome to take leadership roles by becoming Junior Camp Assistants.

Summer Camp Week Sessions in Detail

  • Week 1:  Creative Play Drama
Join us for a fantastical week as we bring fairy tales and fables to life. Campers will explore developing characters, coming up with exciting challenges, collaborating on creative solutions, establishing new imaginary worlds to play in, and writing scripts. Our week will culminate in a one-of-a-kind unique production created by the campers.

  • Week 2:  Nifty Knitting
Join other campers who want to take their knitting to the next level, or start this handcraft from scratch! During the week, campers will plant dye wool and then create a beautiful project of their choosing. There will be stories about animals and all things fiber. Campers do not have to have prior knitting experience.

  • Week 3:  Not-So Serious Science
Join us for a week of fun science crafts, experimentation, and play! Any level of science knowledge or enthusiasm is welcome; our goal is to blend play with exploration of phenomena and the natural world. During the week, campers will explore science concepts through designing and creating crafts such as plant observation, water floats, and nature mandalas and puzzles. We will also enjoy daily outdoor free play and storytelling in the beautiful nature surrounding the school.
